The Cambio Spoon - What's the big deal?

The Cambio Spoon was developed by our founder, Miranda, as the very first addition to The Cambio Collection. Based on the culmination of her many years of experience working in early childhood and her personal experiences as a hands on mum of five, Miranda wanted to craft something that was so much more than just a spoon!

Here are our favorite details about the Cambio Spoon:

Ergonomically Designed – The Cambio Spoon has been specifically designed to fit snugly in your baby’s or toddler’s hand. The size, shape and even the texture of the spoon will give your little one the desire and confidence to explore this new skill of self feeding.

Anti-Choke Guard  When little ones are learning to use utensils, they tend to stick them as far into their mouth as they will go, presenting a gag and choking hazard. The anti-gag guard helps the child keep the spoon a proper distance from their throat, teaching them proper utensil placement, as well as giving parents' peace of mind.

Safety Tested – The Cambio Spoon has been through rigorous testing to ensure that it is free from any nasty chemicals. Made from 100% high quality food grade silicone, the Cambio Spoon is BPA and Phthalate free.

Teether – You just need to pick the Cambio Spoon up once and you will see why it doubles as a teether. The soft silicone texture will relieve those sore, pulsating gums, while also familiarising your little one with how to use a spoon (even before their ready to eat solids!).

Self Feeder – As soon as you place the spoon in your baby’s hand, watch their self feeding learning journey begin. The Cambio Spoon naturally encourages your toddler to increase their hand eye coordination and dexterity while developing their sense of independence.

When it comes to shopping for your baby, the list of things to buy can feel a mile long, so we suggest purchasing multipurpose tools wherever you can find them!
